Unforgettable Glambot® Highlights from the Invictus Games Vancouver 2025

The Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 kicked off with an electrifying Opening Ceremony at BC Place, featuring performances from global stars like Chris Martin, Katy Perry, Noah Kahan, Nelly Furtado, and Roxane Bruneau. The ceremony also featured a viral unscripted speech by Premier David Eby, who delivered a heartfelt message of unity and friendship, emphasizing the deep bond between Canada and the U.S., which resonated powerfully with the audience. But beyond the spectacle, this event was about something much deeper—celebrating the resilience and dedication of wounded, injured, and sick service members and veterans from around the world.

With over 500 athletes from 23 nations, the 2025 Games marked the first inclusion of winter sports, with competitions in alpine skiing, Nordic skiing, skeleton, wheelchair curling, and more. Events spanned breathtaking locations in Vancouver and Whistler, with venues like the Vancouver Convention Centre and the Whistler Sliding Centre setting the stage for moments of triumph.

A Red Carpet Experience Like No Other

On the eve of the Opening Ceremony, we were honoured to bring our Glambot® experience to a private dinner event at the Vancouver Convention Centre for athletes, their families, and partners. With panoramic views of Coal Harbour and the North Shore Mountains, the setting was as stunning as the energy in the room.

Athletes were welcomed by Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, setting the tone for an evening of camaraderie and celebration. Our accessible red carpet experience ensured that athletes of all abilities—including those using wheelchairs or mobility devices—could fully participate.

And they did.

Once the first slow-motion, high-definition Glambot® videos started rolling in, athletes and family members came back for more, bringing their teammates and friends along to capture their own unforgettable moments. The instant shareability of the videos made the experience even more exciting, with many guests calling it the most fun part of the event.

A Celebration of Resilience

Throughout the evening, we were reminded of what makes the Invictus Games so special. These athletes aren’t just competitors—they’re warriors in life, pushing through adversity with strength, determination, and heart. Seeing their joy in front of our camera was a privilege, and we couldn’t be prouder to have been part of their journey.

As the Closing Ceremony at Rogers Arena wrapped up the Games—with performances by Jelly Roll, Barenaked Ladies, and The War and Treaty—we were left with one thought: the Invictus spirit doesn’t end here. It lives on in every athlete, every family member, and every moment of perseverance that defines these Games.

To all the competitors—thank you. You inspire us.
